It is stated that I have been a resident of London for the last 8 years. I moved here from Pakistan and have been living here with my husband and 2 kids. I used to work as a helper at a diner but due to the pandemic, everything was shut abruptly, and my family suffered a lot. During quarantine, I discovered my love for stitching Asian dresses, something I learned in Pakistan. I made dresses for myself and posted them online in our friend’s group. Those dresses were liked by everyone and that appreciation got me thinking to make more such dresses and sell them online. To my surprise, there were many buyers, and I earned a lot.
Now, as the pandemic is softening and life is returning to normal, I would like to give my designing a chance by opening a boutique of women’s clothing. It is compulsory for me to register my boutique in the XYZ department. After approval from the department, I would be able to set up my little venture. I have attached a proposal of my business plan along with this letter. Kindly consider my request.
Eagerly waiting for your response.
Regards,
Meredith Grey

Boutiques are places that display and sell dresses particularly for women. There is always a need for more dresses when it comes to women. In the city of London, where men and women work to make both ends meet, it is crucial to have many dresses to wear for work each day. Every woman searches for readymade dresses as they are easy to wear and bypass the hassle of doing alterations.
People of various nationalities have found home in London and live here permanently. Most of the citizens of Pakistan and India have been living here since the time of their grandparents and made a community during this hustle-bustle. Women of these communities prefer eastern wear during religious or matrimonial events. It is not easy to find eastern dresses in London so my boutique will be a great place for such shopping. Other than stitching myself, I will also buy dresses and jewelry from Pakistan and sell them in my boutique. It will be a one-stop-shop for eastern wear.
Along with eastern dresses and jewelry, the boutique will also display western dresses to attract local customers. It is essential otherwise; my business will not be successful.
Setting up a boutique from scratch is a pretty difficult task and I will be doing it all alone. The objectives that I need to complete includes,
In addition to eastern wear, western clothes will also be displayed for working women,
All the articles other than eastern wear would be ordered from designers and their latest collection will be showcased. It will provide a one-stop-shop for women either they want for work or for attending a meeting or a party or wedding. My boutique will cover all fronts for women.
A complete section of pre-loved dresses will be displayed in the boutique for needy people as it will be very cost-effective.
I have contacts with women of the elite class, they wear designer clothes in their events. All the items are used once or twice i.e., dress, jewelry, handbags, footwear, or hats for one event. These ladies never repeat their dresses so I made contacts and asked if they would charity or provide me these dresses at a minimal cost.
These clothes will be available for everyone and can be given to the poor for free. In this way, I will be able to help the poor community as well.
The boutique will be managed by me and I will hire help to perform all tasks smoothly. The team will include,
A start-up requires a huge amount of money that cannot be paid through one’s pocket therefore, I have talked to my rich friends and they are happy to invest in my setup. I have made an installment plan to return their money in a period of 4 years.
