I have been associated with ABC company for 10 years. ABC is an event organizing company that organizes different events for the public. It follows different themes mostly based on the request, or ideas poured by the clients. I work in the capacity of a theme planner and try to execute all the ideas in the best manner possible. A team of 5 members works with me for deciding themes, their shenanigans, and executing them at the venue.
Some of the events organized by the company include weddings, birthday parties, baby showers, and bridal showers. In addition, it also organizes events for different schools such as funfair, sports gala, and award ceremony. I liked doing my job very but now I want to settle and work for the people of my city. Introduction
A recreation center is a place that provides an opportunity for family and friends to get together and enjoy their leisure time by playing games and activities. These recreation centers are in most cities and some cities have more than one such centers to facilitate different communities. Recreation centers are known for getting together long-lost friends and relatives as it provides a common place for all to meet, and it is known by everyone.
People meet and enjoy some time in the fresh air, have snacks and play games, discuss life, politics, and other social issues. These recreation centers are also very common for children as they can also plan a get-together or one-dish party. It provides an excellent distraction from other non-productive activities such as watching television, listening to music, and others.
Recreation centers enhance the quality of life due to their immense benefits. They cater to every person regardless of gender, socioeconomic status, race, caste, or ethnicity. These recreation centers also conduct courses and try to include people of every age group. Children can get themselves involved in after-school fun courses such as pottery, painting, coloring, and sketching.
Thus, I plan to establish a center that provides a small range of courses for women, men, and children to seek everyone’s attention. In addition, I would like to provide a platform for different get together such as birthday parties, anniversaries, or any celebration party so that I can put my creative skills of event planning to use and give something back to the community at a reasonable price.
Significance
Recreation centers gather immense importance from the public due to their impact on the community. These center work for the welfare of everyone living in the community and affect lives in the following ways,
- It adds healthy benefits to anyone’s life as it offers different platforms of physical fitness such as jogging track, exercise equipment, yoga instructor, etc. Doing exercise regularly maintains blood pressure, late onset of diabetes, and heart rate.
- These recreation centers reduce the stress level of a person in different ways and are involved in maintaining a healthy body and mind. Exercise, meeting with friends or other recreational activities are excellent stress reducers.
- Events at recreation centers are family-based so people get to enjoy free times with their loved ones as they hardly get time to spend with their families.
Objectives
From working for someone to being an owner yourself is not easy for you to take care of your responsibilities and try to delegate work to your team. This hard task of setting up a center or a business can be achieved by dividing it into following small, manageable objectives,

- Brochures containing all the information regarding the recreation centers can be displayed everywhere in the community or city so that every person knows about it.
- Renowned personalities of the community can be asked to share some good words about the center.
- Information can be uploaded to specific groups of the community on social media i.e., Facebook, Instagram, etc. These platforms are used by youngsters and have maximum reach.
- Concessions can be awarded to first customers to provoke people to visit the recreation center.
- Different free events can be organized at the center to gather the public and shed some light on the possible workings of the center.
